pepper vodka

bloody mary’s perfect vodka.  for all your brunching needs.{regular vodka, pepper vodka}

just add v8, a dash of celery salt & you’ve got one killer bloody mary!

spicy & full of flavor. mmmm.

from emeril lagasse

1 750ml bottle vodka
1 red jalapeno, with a slit cutting it in half lengthwise
1 green jalapeno, with a slit cutting it in half lengthwise
1 serrano, with a slit cutting it in half lengthwise
2 cloves garlic, peeled

{all of which would have been picked fresh from our garden…if the rabbits around here didn’t like spice so much.  seriously.  my mom sprayed her hosta with cayenne to keep them from eating it, but they thanked her for the seasoning & keep munching.}

1.  drop all the ingredients into the bottle of vodka, pouring out a little, if necessary.  cap & store at room temperature for one week.  remove pepper & garlic & store in the freezer until ready to use.
