before one of our big wine parties, the mister & i both chose two different dips to make & bring along with us. they were both really, really good, but this, the one he chose, was effortless & irresistible.

4 strips bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled
1 cup mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
salt & freshly ground pepper to taste
pita chips, for serving
1. in a medium bowl, combine the crumbled bacon, mascarpone, sour cream & chives. season with salt & pepper. transfer to a serving bowl & serve with pita chips.
