Well, hello there.

We certainly didn’t mean to be gone so long.  This past month has been a whirlwind.  First, I caught the crud going around my office, which had me feeling pretty miserable & unable to talk about food, let alone eat it.  So, there’s that.

Then we went on a delicious, almost entirely food & drink related vacation.  If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you were bound to catch some snippets of that, but there will be plenty more to come.

Ever since then, we’ve been trying to play catch up at work & to say we’ve been busy is an understatement.  So, while I’m trying to get together vacation pictures & catch up on recipes, be sure to check out The Super Awesome Cover to Cover Project on The Bitten Word, where we talked about Braised Chicken & Apples with Calvados as Part of Team Food & Wine.

Also, if you’re a food blogger looking for a new challenge The Food Matters Project is accepting new participants!  We’ve been cooking with the group since February, & it’s been fun to tackle some recipes we may not typically choose & see all the fun & creative twists other group members put on each one.
