i hate to tease y’all with this, since the availability is pretty limited, but sometimes you just have to break out the good stuff.

if you were to take a sip with your eyes closed, you’d think this was a fine french champagne, but really it’s the top of the line sparkling from america’s first house of sparkling wine, schramsberg.

as a wedding gift, some of our friends pitched in to get us a pretty sweet room at the umstead hotel, where we enjoyed hot stone massages for the mister’s birthday last year.

this room,which is almost as big as our entire house, {yes, it has a guest bath & two back to back flat screen tvs & yes, we ran circles around the two rooms because it was just. so. big.} had a gorgeous lake view & was the perfect setting to enjoy this lovely bottle after our indulgent day.
