this clean & citrusy spanish sparkler has been gracing our table quite a bit lately.
unlike cheap crap, (see also: andre) most cavas undergo méthode champenoise: secondary fermentation in the bottle. this produces the perfect little pinpoint bubbles that don’t induce the killer after consumption headaches quite like the lower quality stuff.
&? this comes in at less than $10 a bottle!
I love bubbly and cheap bubbly (but not andre cheap) so I will definitely need to try this!
