what we’re drinking: foothills, new belgium & avery

a lot of good beer has been going unnoticed around here.  not because we haven’t been drinking it, but in part because a) we’ve been cooking a lot, so there’s already a backlog of recipes & pictures in that department,  b) i make an effort to consistently post for wine wednesday, and  c) i am a procrastinating perfectionist.

all of which doesn’t bode well for the beer.  it’s a shame too, since so much of the good stuff is seasonal and/or limited release.

SO, we’re bringing you “what we’re drinking.”  quick snippets, accompanied by poor quality iphone pictures so you can get in on the fun!

first up….

Foothills peoples porter knob creek

{foothills people’s porter aged in knob creek bourbon barrels}

followed by….

Lips of faith & majarjah

{new belgium’s lips of faith eric’s ale, a sour, and avery’s maharaja, an imperial ipa}
