This drink is so easy, i almost feel a little silly posting a recipe for it.

Over Memorial Day weekend, my mother-in-law & I were milling around their lake house, while the boys were out golfing, & snapped to attention when this cocktail was on the last few minutes of an old episode of Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello. It was a hot & lazy afternoon & this drink sounded perfect enough to have us tearing through the pantry for a bottle of club soda to go with what was left of the limoncello Tom & I had made his parents for Christmas.
LIMONCELLO SPRITZER
makes 1 cocktail
ice
3/4 cup limoncello (We make ours using this recipe (with vodka in place of everclear), but you can also use store-bought.)
3/4 cup club soda
2 lemon slices, for garnish
Fill a glass about halfway with ice. Pour in soda & limoncello & stir to combine. Add lemon slices & enjoy.

Side note: I was in SF three years ago visiting friends. It was right after Bottega had opened so we went and got to meet Michael Chiarello. As smarmy as he is on tv, the food was amazing. I had this shaved brussel sprout salad that I still dream about:

We went about 2 1/2 years ago, while we were on our honeymoon. The food was amazing! Tom had a cauliflower soup that we still dream about. I shamelessly begged Michael Chiarello for the recipe on Twitter, but he didn’t reply. He did follow back though!
